<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px; -qt-user-state:0;">The reason i ask is because i develop an app which accesses ensembl in part through biomart and rest. With ensembl changing its API version, often quite unannounced and with API changes that are not always documented, its not easy to develop against that moving target. That is why i prefer to work with the archives, as i can move to newer API versions when i tested everything.</p>
